Children and Family

Looking for a welcoming and fun community where your family can enjoy a positive Jewish experience? Look no further than Hampstead Synagogue! We welcome people from all backgrounds and levels of observance.

We offer a range of children’s activities that are all about having fun while exploring Jewish traditions in a fun and relaxed setting. Our services provide the perfect opportunity for your child to make local friends and learn about Jewish traditions.

We hold fortnightly children’s services on Shabbat mornings which include Shabbat-themed songs, facts about the weekly Parsha or festival, with games and a kiddush with healthy snacks and treats. In addition, we offer special children’s services or pre-festival events with activities such as singing, dancing and/or arts & crafts.

Whether you are looking for a welcoming place to celebrate the High Holydays or a fun and educational local activity for your children on Shabbat mornings, Hampstead Synagogue has something for everyone. We look forward to welcoming you and your family!

Currently there are several kid-themed events during the calendar year, bringing them together to embrace Rosh Hashanah, Succot, Chanukah, Purim and Shavuot.

CRP points for your children can be obtained from attending either Friday night or Shabbat morning services. Full details can be found on the US website here.
